Zaid
Adopted from Sugarsweeteclair
Age: 28
Height: 5' 7"
Gender: Male
Species: Spider
Zaid is pretty laid-back, simple guy. He's more likely to be the one to engage a conversation though, and for the most part speaks his mind. On the other hand, he becomes easily flustered if he doesn't know what to say or do in a situation. He enjoys traveling, a trait which he originally picked in his teens when he would make it a weekly habit to run away from home for a few days at a time. His parents, while loving, had the tendency to put a whole lot of pressure on him which had the opposite effect than they had hoped - he became a lax, "enjoy the smell of the roses" kind of person. He tends to have little to no sense of urgency.
There is one problem going on that his parents can't accept, however. The Arachnid race had been suffering major losses in the past and was on the brink of becoming an endangered species. Members of the population were killed and maimed at large due to their resemblance to the "evil" described by a new, highly popular cult. In this time, arranged marriages became common in the spider race, because entering an inter-species marriage and running the risk of not heading arachnid children could jeopardize the future of the species even further.
With this in mind, Zaid's parents made the "best" choice possible - they set up an arranged marriage between him and the 20-year-old Eathel. Unfortunately for him, this wasn't something he could just run away from. They both have more than a few of their issues to resolve.
